These events on the theme of 'Skills Development' are part of the Workforce Development Learning Series.
Working effectively to support people who experience severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD) requires a wide and varied knowledge base and skill set. Beyond our introductory e-learning modules, these sessions are designed to develop key skills and competencies so that the local workforce knows how best to support their beneficiaries who experience SMD and are confident to deliver approaches that work. This will cover how to work in trauma sensitive ways and psychologically informed practice. This may also include sessions on improving staff resilience and wellbeing.
