The Nottingham Practice Development Unit (PDU) works in partnership with individuals and services within our local system to develop resources to support learning and best practice in the field of disadvantage.

Our materials have been co-produced with people with lived experience and aim to improve the way individuals who experience severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD) are responded to and supported, with a focus on being psychologically informed and trauma sensitive.

Mental Health Resources

The PDU has developed tools to help improve mental health and wellbeing for people who experience multiple disadvantage, as well as the individuals who support them.
