It’s no surprise that online shopping grew by a huge 46% last year. NCVS has a new collaboration with fundraising website easyfundraising which means Nottingham's voluntary groups and charities can turn these new shopping habits into an ongoing revenue stream.
How does it work?
It’s very simple – thousands of leading online retailers, including Amazon, eBay, Argos, and John Lewis, will make a small donation to your organisation whenever your staff, volunteers and supporters use the easyfundraising website or app to shop with them.
As the majority of people now shop online, this is an easy way to boost funds and generate additional income. An average online shopper can raise around £25 each year with easyfundraising. Multiply that by the number of people connected to your organisation and you can see how much collectively they could raise for you.
Your organisation does not need to be a registered charity to raise money through easyfundraising and it is open to voluntary organisations of all shapes and sizes. Over £35m has been raised for good causes so far so it really works.
The benefits
- Free to register and use, with coaching calls and support to help you get started
- 5,100+ online retailers
- Easy to set up and requires minimal management
