This webinar will give you a basic overview of what services sit under Secondary Adult Mental Health. With a greater focus on the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services, we will provide you with an overview of what is psychosis, the journey through EIP from referral through to treatment and discharge.
This will include:
- What is psychosis / drug induced psychosis
- How to support someone who is experiencing psychosis
- How to refer in and how referrals are processed
- What does an EIP service provide and offer
- Inclusion & exclusion criteria
- The different professionals that make up EIP services
- What interventions are offered.
Who can attend?
This session will be of particular interest to individuals and organisations who are supporting people with first episode of psychosis, that may be accessing or wanting to know more about EIP services. This session will be an overview only and will not be a network to discuss individual cases.
