This session takes place on Tuesday 24 June 2025, from 10.30am to 12 noon
Delivered as a webinar via Teams

This session is part of our 'Service Spotlight' theme within our Workforce Development Learning Series.

The session will be facilitated by Sarah Pitts, Transformation Programme Manager and Natasha Cain, Community Rehab Team Leader from Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This webinar will give you a basic overview of what services sit under Secondary Adult Mental Health. With a greater focus on the Local Mental Health services (LMHTs), we will provide you with an overview of the journey through the LMHT from referral through to treatment.

This will include:

  • How to refer in and how referrals are processed
  • The different professionals that make up an LMHT
  • What interventions are offered
  • Focus areas/work around SMD.

Who can attend?

This session will be of particular interest to individuals and organisations who are supporting people with mental health difficulties that may be accessing or wanting to know more about Secondary Mental Health Services. This session will be an overview only and will not be a network to discuss individual cases.

We welcome individuals from a variety of roles, agencies, sectors, who have an interest in this subject.
