A no cost opportunity for 3 million coaches to upskill their mental health literacy during COVID-19 lockdown.

The East Midlands Physical Activity and Mental Health Network is letting local delivery partners and organisations know that Mental Health Awareness training is available for free until the end of August 2020. This training usually costs £18. The online course was developed in partnership between Mind, 1st4sport, Sport England and UK Coaching.

Everyone who delivers coaching in a club, leisure centre or any other community sports & physical activity setting – such as coaches, fitness instructors, personal trainers, activators, sports administrators, front of house staff or volunteers – will benefit.

This course is self-paced and lasts approximately 2-3 hours, but there is nothing to stop you leaving and finishing at your convenience. You can break up your learning and take time out in between completing modules. You will be able to access it whenever you want, at a time that fits in with your lifestyle.
