Part of the new Practice Development Unit (PDU) Workforce Development learning series. This session has a 'Service Spotlight' theme, raising awareness of local service provision in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and the various support pathways that exist for people who experience severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD).
The session will be facilitated by Sarah Pitts, Transformation Programme Manager and Natasha Cain, Community Rehab Team Leader from Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
This webinar will give you a basic overview of what services sit under Secondary Adult Mental Health. With a greater focus on the Local Mental Health services (LMHTs), we will provide you with an overview of the journey through the LMHT from referral through to treatment.
This will include:
- How to refer in and how referrals are processed
- The different professionals that make up an LMHT
- What interventions are offered
- Focus areas/work around SMD.
