As this opportunity is from home there are no barriers to the volunteer or participant due to COVID. We are really proud to be able to provide this service to others in order to welcome and support Refugees and Asylum seekers to the city of Nottingham.

TELEPHONE BEFRIENDING
We are looking for volunteers to support our clients who do not feel comfortable leaving the house at the moment but would like support through weekly conversation. Befriending volunteers allow us to make the people we support feel valued, welcome and to build up their support network in the city. It also allows us to have a wider oversight of the needs of all our clients as we know there is a volunteer checking in with them every week.
