Purpose of Role:
Epic Partners are a small but growing voluntary organisation with ambitious plans for future expansion of its services. We are a registered charity operating and providing charitable services to children, young people, and their families who live-in Inner-City Wards of Nottingham. The Board of Trustees of the charity are keen to help us grow, and we are recruiting experienced members of the public to join our Board.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are particularly keen to recruit members of the local community who have one or more of the following skills:
• Experience in Accountancy.
• Expertise in Marketing, PR or Event Management.
• Expertise in HR.
• Experience in Youthwork.
• Experience in Providing Sports Activities.
• Experience in Employment & Adult Training Programmes.
• Representation from the community, knowledge of inner-city communities, either from living or working there
We aim to have a diverse board with a wide range of skills, and experience that bolsters our charity’s resilience and gives us the best chance of fulfilling our purposes into the future
Board meetings are held every three months at our main office on Carlton Road, on Tuesday evenings between 4.30pm and 6.30pm. The Board is responsible for setting the strategy and policies of Epic Partners which helps guide and supports the Chief Executive and his staff.
