Purpose of Role:
This important and responsible volunteer role is to be part of a small team of people ensuring that 3 Little Birds is able to sustain its support for vulnerable people in Nottingham and beyond by attracting funding to support its work.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is a home-based opportunity with a new mental health charity, Three Little Birds, located in Nottingham UK. This is a charitable foundation dedicated to helping those in need especially suffering from Mental health, Anxiety, Obesity and associated conditions. Through the dedication of our volunteers, staff members, and partners, we strive to improve the lives of everyone who needs help within the community and beyond.
You will be a key part of the organisation's team and will take responsibility for identifying and applying for funding to support our work.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
We are not looking for an accountant or even a professional fundraiser. If you have some skills in tracking down information online, you will be able to find potential grants. Also, if you enjoy organising community events that can bring in some money, you will quickly become very popular with this organisation.
IT literacy and a good command of English are important
Being organised and methodical
Able to get on well with other team members
Be willing to explore new ways of getting things done and of bringing in the funds.
You will not be on your own, as this role is part of a fundraising team that also works with other volunteers and members of the organisation's management
