Purpose of Role:
Nottingham Arimathea Trust (NAT) is a small housing charity dedicated to supporting destitute asylum seekers, newly recognised refugees and other vulnerable migrants including victims of trafficking and modern day slavery . NAT has presently 20 properties housing over 70 residents. The charity is looking to strengthen its Board members and is currently recruiting new trustees to be appointed to the Board.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
NAT is particularly looking for trustees with expertise in charity fundraising and finance, social investment, property management, HR and/or other sector industry expertise in the causes affecting refugees and asylum seekers. These are not exhaustive areas of expertise and applications from those with other relevant skills are welcomed. Applicants with lived experience of being an asylum seeker/refugee and have the relevant skills are particularly encouraged to apply.
