Purpose of Role:
Experienced car drivers needed to transfer vital blood and medical supplies to hospitals.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Volunteer drivers needed to transfer vital blood and medical supplies to hospitals in our cars that complement the journeys carried out by the motorcycle riders on the blood bikes.
The service operates 7pm to 6am Monday to Friday and 24 hours a day at weekends and bank holidays. We save the NHS thousands of pounds as they do not have to use local taxi companies or couriers when their internal courier service is unavailable.
We also hope you will participate in fundraising activities as we need to generate enough funds to keep the service running.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Drivers must hold a current driving licence.
You must also have no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (inclusive of any pending convictions or fixed penalties).
