ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Trustees are vital to Staa's success. As a trustee, you'll help steer our strategy, support staff, and ensure the charity complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll bring insight, care, and a willingness to engage actively in trustee meetings and ongoing governance.

Your responsibilities include:
Providing strategic guidance and oversight
Ensuring compliance with Charity Commission regulations
Monitoring financial and operational performance
Supporting the manager and staff team
Championing Staa’s values in all areas of our work

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
A commitment to Staa’s mission and values
Willingness to contribute actively and thoughtfully
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Sound judgement and an understanding of confidentiality and integrity

Desirable
Local knowledge of St Ann’s or Nottingham
Experience in charity governance or community work
Professional expertise in relevant sectors (finance, education, green spaces etc.)
