ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Thanks to our amazing volunteers, our shops generated over £1 million last year. By joining our team you can help raise even more vital funds for Nottinghamshire Hospice. You'll be volunteering in our friendly community shop under the guidance of our Community Shop Managers.
The role is interesting and diverse; no two days are the same. Tasks include:
· Sorting and pricing clothes, books and bric-a-brac
· Receiving incoming donations and marking for gift aid
· Creating window displays
· Serving customers and using the till
· Restocking shelves
· Arranging displays
· Steaming donations
· Using the shop computer to research products and enter gift aid data
This role will give you the opportunity to be part of the community, make friends, learn new skills, have fun and make a positive difference to people receiving end-of-life care across Nottinghamshire.
