How many places are on offer?
Purpose of Role:
The MNVP volunteer will be part of our WhatsApp and Facebook groups, where they will receive updates and opportunities around various projects and events. Volunteers will contribute feedback and engagement through digital channels, helping to improve maternity and neonatal services in the local area.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Maternity & Neonatal Voices volunteer, you will:
- Join our WhatsApp and Facebook groups to stay updated on opportunities and projects.
- Participate in surveys, polls, and discussions to provide feedback on maternity and neonatal services.
- Share MNVP feedback forms, polls, and other materials with your community.
- Engage with other volunteers and professionals to support service improvement initiatives.


WHAT IS AN MNVP?
A Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) is an independent team made up of women, birthing people and their families; Providers (who deliver services such as midwives and doctors); the Integrated Care Board (ICB); who commission health services, the Local Authority (LA), who commission public health and social care, and Voluntary Organisations.

OUR MNVP MISSION STATEMENT:
Championing the voices of service users to improve maternity and neonatal experiences
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
No specific qualifications are required, but it would be beneficial if you:
- Are passionate about improving maternity and neonatal services.
- Have good communication skills and can engage with others in a positive manner.
- Are comfortable using WhatsApp and Facebook for communication and engagement.
- Have experience of Maternity or Neonatal services either as a service user, or as a partner or parent/carer.
