Purpose of Role:
Carers Roadshows take place a variety of venues and bring together services from all sorts of health and social care related organisations. You would be looking after a stand and talking to people about what we do at Nottinghamshire Carers Association, asking them about themselves to better understand what help and support they might need and handing out information. They are lively, chatty events, with lots going on and plenty of people to talk to. You’d have plenty of time beforehand with a member of the team to learn what to say and would usually be with a team member on your stall.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Carers Roadshows take place every year and they are a great opportunity to raise carer awareness and the support that we can offer. They take place at several locations throughout Nottingham City and County. The volunteer will be working with staff members from Nottingham Carers Association.
