ROLE DESCRIPTION:
SFiCE Foundation is looking for a friendly, organised and community-minded Volunteer Co-ordinator to help us grow and support our amazing volunteer team.

Volunteers are the heart of our charity. They help us run our free Social Café, where we serve hot meals to people experiencing homelessness and financial hardship. They also support us with sorting clothing donations, packing food parcels, running ESOL classes, supporting our benefits advisor and managing our social media.

As our Volunteer Co-ordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping us find, welcome and retain volunteers who want to make a difference. You’ll:

Keep our volunteer roles up to date on platforms like Nottingham CVS
Respond to new enquiries with warmth and clarity
Send and process volunteer application forms
Request and follow up references
Help onboard and support new volunteers
Occasionally meet and greet volunteers at SFiCE House
