Purpose of Role:
The purpose of the Social Media Volunteer is to use Advantage Mobility as a resource to create and upload inspirational content for social media channels (Meta and Instagram, You Tube) about the products and services offered and carried out by Advantage Mobility, and to start a blog on the Advantage Mobility Website.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Department: Advantage Mobility
Role Location: Initially Advantage Mobility offices NG2 2AD and then remote
Role Support: You will be supported by the Operations Director of Advantage Mobility

What is the purpose of this role?
To utilise Advantage Mobility as a resource to create and upload inspirational content for social media channels (Meta and Instagram, You Tube) about the products and services offered and carried out by Advantage Mobility, and to start a blog on the Advantage Mobility Website.

What impact does this role have?
Creating inspirational content for social media will raise the awareness of products and services in the mobility user community. The generation of increased sales and greater customer satisfaction is will impact the organisation. The volunteer will be able to utilise the opportunity to gain a full understanding and experience of creating a functional social awareness programme from start to finish.

What activities might you be involved in?
• Creating and uploading inspirational content to our social media channels
• Creating and publishing articles, stories, and information about the products and services offered by Advantage Mobility on our website
• Engaging with readers.

 Individuals who are confident in creating stories and writing articles about products
 Individuals who wish to gain an understanding of social media and how to use it to best effect for an organisation
 Individuals who know how to upload content to social media and websites

When would you be needed to volunteer?
The needs of the role and your availability will be discussed at interview, but we would like you to be available until at least the end of the 24/25 academic year (May 2025).

What training will you be given?
You will be given an induction to Advantage Mobility and an opportunity to spend time with key members of staff to gain a full understanding of the range of products and services sold and any challenges currently faced.
