Portland College are looking for volunteers who are able to support citizens who have disabilities to engage in activities and voice their opinions and views.
Portland College has a Registered Care Home and Treatment Centre providing an excellent standard of care to people with a wide of disabilities. We need caring and compassionate people, who can show commitment to these positive values and deliver safe care with energy and enthusiasm.
We are looking for a volunteer to support citizens to participate in games night and craft evening (17:00 - 20:00). Supporting the citizens to socialise and be involved with other people.
This will support the citizens in accepting other people's opinions and views.
You will be volunteering with a team of highly motivated care staff and will work flexibly across the service to ensure the seamless delivery of activities for the citizens are delivered.
