Purpose of Role:
Creative student or aspiring content creator? Help raise awareness of homelessness support in Nottingham by running the social media for SFiCE Foundation. Flexible, rewarding and a great way to boost your CV.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Are you passionate about digital content, storytelling or making a difference in your community? SFiCE Foundation is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Co-ordinator to help us raise awareness of our work supporting people experiencing homelessness or extreme financial hardship.
You’ll take the lead on developing and managing our Facebook and Instagram presence, creating engaging posts, reels and stories that highlight our Social Café, food parcels, clothing bank, ESOL classes and wellbeing support services. You’ll also help us reach new supporters, donors and potential corporate partners through impactful, real-life content.
The role is based at SFiCE House, 75a Raleigh Street, NG7 4DL but you’ll have flexibility to do much of the work remotely. We just ask that you pop in occasionally to take photos or film short clips during sessions (which run Tuesdays–Fridays).
You’ll be supported by the Charity Manager and work alongside our lovely team of volunteers. This is a great opportunity for a student or aspiring content creator to build their portfolio, gain real experience and genuinely help a grassroots charity grow.
