Purpose of Role:
This is a great opportunity to gain and develop your experience in the competitive retail sector, make new friends and help The Mary Magdalen Foundation raise funds to support their work with people recovering from alcohol problems.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Support our charity shop in Basford shop to give customers the best possible experience in-store, making sure they have a fantastic time and come back again and again!
Our tills are really easy to use and as a till operator, you’ll be the face of our shop. You’ll be focused and friendly, take payments, pack goods, and spot opportunities to make additional sales. You'll get great training and support and along the way, you'll pick up really useful retail and customer service experience.
If you already have experience of the retail sector, this role offers you the chance to keep those customer service skills fresh.
The shop is open 10 - 4 Monday to Friday and 10 - 2 on a Saturday.

Has a good level of numeracy.
Commitment
Regular four-hour shift preferred, but days and times flexible.
Experience
Previous retail experience would be great but it's not essential. You need to be a friendly, helpful person who enjoys talking to people.
