How many places are on offer?
2 per half day
This is a great opportunity to gain and develop your experience in the competitive retail sector, make new friends and help The Mary Magdalen Foundation raise funds to support their work with people recovering from alcohol problems.
You could be front of house, serving customers and keeping the shop floor tidy and fresh, or organizing stock behind the scenes. We ask for as little or as much time as you can give, as often or as occasionally as you feel able.
Previous retail experience would be great but it’s not essential as we’ll give you all the training you need. Really, you just need to be a friendly, helpful person who enjoys talking to people.
Ideally, we’d like you to commit to a regular shift, the shop is open 10 - 4 Monday to Friday and 10 - 2 on a Saturday.
We will be able to provide a reference to prospective employers.
Flexible but suggest two hours on a regular basis
Fun, friendship and to be part of a team
Staff discount on donated goods
We can reimburse your reasonable local travel expenses for shifts of over 4 hours and we will be able to provide a reference to prospective employers.
The shop is open from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday
