Purpose of Role:
This wonderful opportunity within the retail department raises valuable funds which support the people who use Treetops Hospice Care services.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This wonderful opportunity within the retail department raises valuable funds which support the people who use Treetops Hospice Care services.
The role is diverse and interesting, no two days are the same in our charity shop. Tasks range from assisting customers, organising our stock by using creative flare to display products or design window displays.
As this role is located within our furniture and homeware store some lifting may be required.
This role gives volunteers the chance to gain valuable retail and customer experience within a friendly supportive team.
Application forms are available at the shop so please feel free to pop into the shop and ask for an application pack.
The shop is open Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00pm and Saturday 10.00-5.00pm (There are various shifts available).
There will be an introduction to Treetops Hospice Care's (foundation) course 1/2 day workshop which all new volunteers attend and further training within the shop setting.
Volunteers are covered by Treetops Hospice Care's Employers Liability insurance whilst on duty, and travel expenses in accordance with the policy.
