Purpose of Role:
Would you like to join our friendly team by helping out in the café within the Nottingham Crown Court and help raise funds to support the work of Treetops Hospice Care.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Treetops Hospice Care provides nursing care and emotional support for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Treetops supports people with illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis. It also supports their carers and families. All services are provided free of charge.

Cafe assistants will be serving customers in the cafe at Nottingham Crown Court. This helps raise vital funds to keep our services running. Serving the general public and working at a till point will be a part of this role, additional tasks such as food preparation may also be required.

The Magistrates Court Coffee Bar is the smaller of the two court coffee bars operated by the Treetops team, with the other being at Nottingham Crown Court.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Friendly, enthusiastic individuals who are keen to help our catering team.

Volunteers will need to be reliable, committed, have a good interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast paced catering/retail environment.

It is very important that volunteers have an open and positive mind to peoples' difference.

You will need basic numeracy and literacy skills (English and maths)

You may have to stand for fairly long periods, especially at busy times.

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
