How many places are on offer?
Socialising a puppy for 1 year in your own home, getting it used to everyday situations and activities in preparation for its later training for life with a visually impaired person
Puppy walking is an essential element in the development of a future guide dog. Volunteer puppy walkers take a puppy into their homes for just over one year, getting it used to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association provides food for the puppy and meets vet bills. Puppy Walkers give their puppy a firm foundation for its later training and life with a visually impaired person.
