Purpose of Role:
Join our team and help create a thriving community garden at Lindum Grove in Sneinton. In this role, you will be maintaining and nurturing the garden, performing tasks such as weeding, watering, and pruning to ensure its health and attractiveness. You'll collaborate with fellow volunteers to plan seasonal planting and crop rotations.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is an exciting opportunity to support this small, friendly community group to create a vibrant and thriving garden for all to enjoy.
Garden Maintenance:
* Maintain and nurture the garden to ensure its overall health and vitality.
* Perform regular weeding, watering, and pruning to promote the growth of plants and maintain an attractive garden environment.
* Monitor and control pests, diseases, and weeds through appropriate methods, including organic approaches whenever possible.
* Collaborate with other team members members to plan and implement seasonal planting, as well as the rotation of crops and flowers.
Garden Design and Beautification:
* Work with other volunteers to develop and implement creative garden designs that enhance the overall aesthetics of the space.

YOUNG PEOPLE AND THIS ROLE
* We are proud of having a diverse volunteer base made up of people from different backgrounds and ages. Young volunteers (Under18) are welcome but must be the responsibility of a parent or responsible adult at all times while volunteering in the garden.
We are not currently able to offer volunteer expenses.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
* Previous experience in gardening or landscaping would be welcome but is not mandatory.
