The public kindly donate small electrical items to our shops, which we are unable to sell on unless they have passed a PAT test. As volunteer PAT Tester in our small friendly team you'll help to complete visual inspections and function tests, using a PAT Testing machine in store.
A few hours a week can really make a difference so no matter how much or how little spare time you have, we’d love to meet you.

We can reimburse your reasonable local travel expenses for shifts of over 4 hours
We will be able to provide a reference to prospective employers.
The shop is open from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday
Skills and Qualifications:
We'll need you to:
be trustworthy, reliable and flexible
be organised and methodical
be friendly and approachable
have common sense
use your own initiative
work as part of a team
Previous experience is not essential in this role, but if you've already got a PAT testing qualification it would be fantastic. If not, training can be provided for the right person. You really just need to be able to work methodically and be organised.
