Purpose of Role:
Studio House are looking for a Resettlement Volunteer to engage with residents and support them to live an independent life. Day-to-day tasks will vary according to need, current systems and other services and contacts in the city.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Studio House are looking for a Resettlement Volunteer to engage with residents and support them to live an independent life. Day-to-day tasks will vary according to need, current systems and other services and contacts in the city. Most importantly, the volunteer is central to assessing the needs and options of Studio House residents and helping them to move on appropriately, efficiently and in a planned and sustainable manner. Most residents will move on either to further supported accommodation or to live independently, that usually being either in social or private rented housing. This role is to ensure move-on is timely and sustainable. Central to this is responding to, supporting and managing residents’ needs and aspirations. The volunteer will work with other Studio House staff.
