Purpose of Role:

Studio House is a 20 bed drug and alcohol rehabilitation project. It is situated in Basford, a suburb of Nottingham. We are looking for an experienced bid and grant writing volunteer to work alongside the management team.


Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced bid and grant writing volunteer to work alongside the management team. This person will be responsible for the research and development of our bid and grant writing strategy. On a practical level the volunteer will be responsible for the day to day development, writing and monitoring of all funding applications. The volunteer will also establish and maintain professional contacts and relationships with potential and actual grant-making organisations.There is an expectation that the volunteer bid and grant writer will maintain a calendar of submissions, deadlines and will complete reports and evaluations as required by any funding bodies.

This role can be home-based with occasional meetings with the organisation's staff.

 
Skills and Qualifications:

An experienced and skilled volunteer bid and grant-writer to join our team who will be organised, reliable and passionate. This volunteer will be non-judgemental, have good communication skills and be able to establish professional and appropriate relationships with people from all walks of life. They will be able to both lead and work with the staff team at Studio House. This is a key position and you will be working closely with the management team to ensure the long term success and sustainability of Studio House. This is a flexible position where times and days of working can be negotiated.
