Purpose of Role:
Studio House is a 20-bed drug and alcohol rehabilitation project. It is situated in Basford, a suburb of Nottingham. Since its opening back in April 2003, the vision of developing a sustainable and self supporting community to compliment
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This would include, filling in benefit forms, answering phones, taking referrals, along with general office duties.
This is one of the most important roles on the project, it includes using our systems to support our Administrator in the day to day smooth running of the project. You will be working alongside staff and residents helping with the running and manageability of the project.
Studio House has three buildings connected with the service and our administration office is based in the main building and has a reception area attached to it, you would be the first person that visitors would come into contact with.
We are asking for a flexible commitment between 9 am and 12 noon Monday to Friday.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
We are looking to recruit a Volunteer Administrator who has good organisational and IT skills, you will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
You will be a non-judgemental individual who can work positively with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. You will also be able to build positive and professional relationships with residents, staff, family members and other professionals and agencies.
Desired personal skills include an eagerness to learn and grow, an innovative and creative thinker. It is desirable that you have strong computer and internet skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
