Purpose of Role:
We are looking for someone to support with our Feel Good Gold sessions. Feel Good Gold is part of The Renewal Trust's Feel Good Programme - the sessions are free and include activities and lunch for ages 66 and over. Free transport is also provided and the sessions take place at two venues, one in St Ann's and one in Sneinton. We are looking for someone to help with serving lunch at our weekly sessions, to offer hot and cold drinks to the people attending the session. To ensure the equipment (plates, cups, cutlery etc) and workspace areas are kept clean and tidy and assist the people attending the session.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The role will support our Community Programme Assistant with our Feel Good Gold sessions - the sessions are for ages 66 and over and include various activities and lunch. The sessions take place on Wednesday and Friday, 11:30am to 1:30pm at two different venues (one in St Ann's and one in Sneinton).
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The volunteers just need to friendly, happy to chat to the people attending and to make them feel welcome
