Role Description:

Here's a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about gardening and passing on those skills to other people.

Stonebridge City Farm has a great space in inner-city Nottingham where people from all walks of life can experience life on a farm. In particular, they have a number of people with learning disabilities who would love to be involved in the gardens.

As a volunteer, you'll be working alongside a small group of people, with support from farm staff, developing a practical programme of planting, cultivation, harvesting and other activities that will involve these people with learning disabilities.

 
Skills and Qualifications:

You'll be passionate about supporting people and maybe you already have some experience of being with people with learning disabilities.

You'll also need to be able to tell dandelions from turnips!
