Role Description:
To enable mothers and fathers who live apart from their children to spend time together in a supportive and safe environment whilst building a safe community spirit.
You will plan and manage events for fathers, children and their families. To ensure that participants have fun and able to work as part of a team.
You could be:
* Researching and booking potential venues
* Developing programmes of activities
* Promoting and publicising the events
* Setting up Event Supporter volunteer rotas
* Managing the event on the day
* Working to deadlines
You will get great experience from supporting fathers and their children and which transfers directly to jobs in the field of children and families. You will be involved in some enjoyable fun activities and make a real difference to the relationships between fathers, children and the community.
Skills and Qualifications:
You don’t need any specific skills or qualifications for this role, but you will need to have an interest in supporting parents who are experiencing separation from their children.
* Be creative with ideas for fun activities.
* Get on well with people from all backgrounds.
