Purpose of Role:
Newstead Community Miners Welfare Trust is seeking to co-opt new trustees with business management and charity directorship skills to assist the existing board in developing Newstead Community Centre into the thriving heart of our community.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Newstead Community Miners Welfare Trust is seeking to co-opt new trustees with business management and charity directorship skills to assist the existing board in developing Newstead Community Centre into the thriving heart of our community.
The volunteer will become a member of our Board of Trustees.
Their skills, as listed below, will be required to inform and guide the Board when decisions and actions are to be taken within that field. They will also be required to take part in discussions about day-to-day issues and offer their opinion. The Board of Trustees are essential as they are the employers and have ultimate responsibility for the schemes viability. The Board of Trustees meet monthly to discuss the scheme issues and make decisions.
New Trustees will be working alongside a current board membership which include a Chair and a Company Secretary.
