Purpose of Role:

Are you Minibus Driver with D1 Licence? You can make a difference to the lives of local people living with Sight Loss.


Role Description:

To ensure that our visually impaired service users are able to access all of the groups, outings and events that we run, they often need transport. Many of our service users have limited mobility and struggle with the cost of taxis. To ensure that people are accessing the services that they need, we are looking for Volunteer Minibus Drivers.
You MUST have a category D1 driving licence for this role.
The role will entail many different trips, including transporting our Service Users.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and training; find out more about people with Sight Loss and help make a difference!

 
Skills and Qualifications:

A D1 LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE
Volunteers must have a clean licence
My Sight Notts provides a DBS and relevant training and induction
