Purpose of Role:

My Sight Nottinghamshire (the working name for Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the blind) are dedicated to improving the lives of people living with sight loss in Nottinghamshire

Role Description:

To ensure that our visually impaired service users are able to access all of the groups, outings and events that we run, they often need transport. Many of our service users have limited mobility and struggle with the cost of taxis. To ensure that people are accessing the services that they need, we are looking for volunteer drivers.

Skills and Qualifications:

If you enjoy the open road, want to meet new people and enjoy socialising, then this is the opportunity for you

We have our own vehicles that drivers would be able to use, or they can use their own vehicle if they have one. We will also send for your DBS form and pay for this. To be able to drive a minibus is desirable.
