How many places are on offer?
My sight Nottinghamshire (the working name for Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the blind) are dedicated to improving the lives of people living with sight loss in Nottinghamshire
Our hospital information volunteers will offer emotional support and practical advice to patients visiting hospital eye clinics. Volunteers work alongside our staff to give advice to patients who have recently been diagnosed with an eye condition or people whose eyesight has deteriorated.
We provide training and support to ensure our volunteers understand about different eye conditions and the services available for people. It's really valuable work and a great way to gain experience of working in a hospital environment.
