Purpose of Role:
Coaching on the use of tech to people with Sight Loss remotely via video or phone and face to face.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
After Covid-19 hit and the country was forced into lock-down, many services transitioned to an online format and technology paved the way for many people to be able to carry on. Of course, this isn't so easy if you are blind and partially sighted. Learning how to use new technology when you have Sight Loss is a big challenge.
If you have good knowledge of any technology - apple, android, PC and other devices - and are willing to learn how to coach people with Sight Loss on how to use these with assistive software then we'd love to hear from you!
Training will be available and the service will be delivered remotely and face to face.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
We are looking for sociable and dedicated volunteers. Volunteers will be fully trained and the knowledge of current tech will be essential and integrated to their training.
