Purpose of Role:

My Sight Nottinghamshire have a stall in the Victoria Centre market that showcases aids and equipment specifically designed for people with sight loss.

Role Description:

People can come to the stall and try out different equipment before they make a purchase. The stall also promotes the work of our charity and raises awareness of issues relating to sight loss.

Your role is to talk to people in the market and to give information about the equipment and aids available for visually impaired people.

Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for sociable and dedicated volunteers to help staff our city centre stall. Volunteers will be fully trained on the equipment and aids available for people with a visual impairment and will be an integral part of our Equipment in the Community service.
