Purpose of Role:
A Volunteer with experience and knowledge in how we can promote our work better and improve the funding opportunities will assist us greatly.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
What will you be doing?

To promote the benefits of LECN programmes. Working with LECN Management and Delivery team to - Produce maximum impact publicity materials - Produce LECN Newsletters for target audience - Maximise the exposure of LECN to local press - Assist in the development of effective LECN website - Identify and participate at appropriate County events - Help to develop our Social Media Footprint, Use local media to promote the benefits of LECN programmes.

Life Education Centre Nottinghamshire has been operating for 25 years, each year has been a challenge which we have managed to achieve through the dedication of its Trustees and members of the Management Group and our employed educator staff.

Funding has always faced challenges, as a small charity with limited experience and skills in promoting our work, we do not have a strong profile with the public or the Primary Schools in Nottinghamshire who are our prime customers.

A Volunteer with experience and knowledge in how we can promote our work better and improve the funding opportunities will assist us greatly.

The role can be fulfilled through flexible hours to suit the individual. Selection will be through discussion with LECN Management Committee DBS disclosure expected Driving Licence and own motor insurance reasonable expenses o.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
What are we looking for?

Experience in the following skills will benefit the charity in promoting its work:

· PR experience

· Computer Skills

· Social Media Facebook, Twitter experience

· Excellent literacy skills

· Knowledge of LECN programmes preferable but not essential

· Good Interpersonal skills Confident Trustworthy.
