We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about our mission to make food go further!
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Foodprint is a social supermarket and a food redistribution network with a shop in Sneinton. We are a student led social enterprise managed by students at the University of Nottingham. We want to minimise food poverty and food waste by redistributing and affordably selling surplus food. We aim to fill the gap for those who cannot afford to shop at standard retail prices but want the dignity that food banks cannot provide. As a food redistribution network, we give a variety of local organisations food at no cost. This includes school breakfast clubs, community eating hubs and foodbanks.

We have shifts on Friday afternoons, Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning. Shifts are approximately 4 hours long and we would prefer individuals that can commit to completing three shifts per month. We try to be as flexible as possible around your existing commitments!

What you will gain from volunteering with us:
• Support your local community, impacting 500 people a week through our redistribution network
• Building new relationships with like-minded people
• Build a community around sustainability and food security
