Purpose of Role:
We are looking for volunteers who can support the daily running of the kitchen. Working alongside our full time chef, volunteers will help prepare, serve and clear away. Volunteers tend to volunteer for a minimum of two hours per week.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for volunteers who can support the daily running of the kitchen. Working alongside our full-time chef, volunteers will help prepare, serve and clear away. You can choose one or more, of three time-slots between 8.00am and 1.30pm.

The tasks that you might be asked to help with are:
Basic preparation of food
Serving meals and refreshments to service users
Use the till
Cleaning surfaces
Washing cooking utensils, cutlery and plates etc
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Some catering experience would be desirable, but training will be provided. Empathy with homelessness and housing issues would be beneficial but not essential.
