Purpose of Role:
The role involves representing us at a broad range of community events, as well as speaking on our behalf. The opportunity can involve anything from a few hours each month (or whatever you can spare).
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
# Children's grief is not widely known or understood - you could be a voice for children who have been bereaved to increase understanding and awareness within schools and community groups, as well as talking about the difference our charity makes and why it is so important.
# Represent the charity at a variety of events including fundraising events, cheque presentations etc.
# Source potential speaking opportunities.
# Liaise with our Fundraising Coordinator to co-ordinate actives and obtain updates on service delivery.
# Keep a written log of talks delivered and events attended to ensure all hosts are thanked appropriately.
# Be our local eyes and ears for potential further fundraising.
Important note: Our base is in Newark, but most of our opportunities are available in the Nottingham area as we have a number of outreach venues.
