Purpose of Role:
Help our Activities Department to offer a broader range of activities for our clients to take part in, including some creative/arts work. No personal care involved.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for volunteers, over the age of 18, to help assist the activities department at our care centre on Sherwood Rise that helps with the care of older people.

We have a range of clients that love to get involved in activities and we would like to take some volunteers on board to help broaden the amount of activities and one-to-one time that is spent with the clients. This would include unit-based activities and trips out with the clients. You will not be involved in personal care tasks.

As well as this, we are also looking for some creative and art-based individuals.

We are looking for help on any weekdays for as much or as little time as you can give!! It's a perfect opportunity if you’ve just finished college or need to get some volunteering in while at university to get experience in a care setting.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
No previous experience is needed.

You'll need to:

Be reliable
Get on well with people from a range of backgrounds and with a range of head injuries
Come up with ideas for interesting and engaging activities
