Purpose of Role:

The Secret Garden Project is a collective community initiative with the aim of completely renovating the garden space at Heathfield Community Centre NG5 1HR and turning into a vibrant, thriving community garden.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

With a focus on wellbeing and improving mental health through undertaking wholesome outdoor activities, we are encouraging all ages and abilities outdoors to help create this wonderful space - Working together, problem solving and reconnecting with one another and with nature.

Our volunteers are encouraged to get involved in all aspects of the project with the opportunity to develop their skills in leadership, project management and wildlife friendly sustainable practices.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

You don't need green fingers, just a willingness to join in a range of fun activities with a great group of people in the garden.
