Purpose of Role:

Volunteering opportunity at White Rose shops - a chain of recycled fashion shops supporting the peace building work of the Aegis Trust by selling handpicked, high quality, pre-loved fashion items and accessories, with 8 shops and an online store all specialising in men’s, women’s and children’s wear – www.whiterosefashion.com

As a volunteer, we ask that you are able support us for a minimum of 4 hours per week, you can decide how many hours you are able to give each week beyond that, shifts are available any time between 10am-6pm, 7 days a week and can fit easily around studies, a part-time job and everything else in life.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The duties in our shops will be varied and will offer you the experience similar to that of a Retail Assistant in any retail clothing store. This involves clothing preparation including steaming, tagging, visual merchandising including window displays and dressing mannequins, providing great customer service, cash handling and till work as well as social media marketing on Instagram for our shops.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Full training will be given and it is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience in a retail environment, in customer service, fashion or non-profit/charity sector.
