Purpose of Role:
Support Community Development team colleagues with projects and in particular the Ready 4 Work project in local rural communities. (Cotgrave and Bingham)
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The role involves helping young people with employment needs .Your role will involve supporting customers with the following :
Creating a CV or improving it
Cover letter help
Mock interview practice
Helping customers using various site to apply for Jobs they are interested in
Talking to the customer to identify any work or learning barriers and looking at ways to reduce it.
We are looking for a volunteer for either our Cotgrave Futures Building or Bingham Library .
Start to be confirmed- May onwards for a year.
Support from the project manager and support staff.

Some IT skills, basic English skills. Mentoring skills.
