OFFERED BY:
Mary Magdalen Foundation (The Sanctuary) (CLOSED)
Location(s): Berridge
Address where volunteering takes place: The Sanctuary 588 Radford Road Basford Nottingham NG7 7EX
How many places are on offer? Several
Purpose of Role:
From the inception of the Mary Magdalen Foundation (The Sanctuary) by Sr Elizabeth of the Little Company of Mary in 1967 (in Hyson Green and later moving to the present location in Radford Road, Basford) to the present day, the commitment of our charity has remained the same, to care.

Looking towards the future we are looking to put in place a dedicated team of trustees who will steer our charity forward.
While the day to day running of the Sanctuary is functioning well we do need “top floor” assistance.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Trustees of a charity are responsible for the general control and management of the administration of the charity by using their skills and experience.

Your skills, as listed below, will inform and guide the Board when decisions and actions are to be taken within that field. You will also be required to take part in discussions about other issues and offer your opinion. If you can give a few hours a week (or more if possible), you would make a huge difference to our enterprise.
The Board of Trustees are essential as they are the employers and have ultimate responsibility for the schemes viability.
New Trustees will be working alongside current board members.
At present meetings take place online, but we hope to be able to return to face-to-face trustee meetings when circumstances allow.
