Purpose of Role:
We are currently looking for new volunteer drivers to help us complete our weekly collections and deliveries, so if you have a UK driving licence and have a passion for sustainable living in Nottingham, then we would love to hear from you!
Would you like to be part of a social enterprise that save 126 tonnes of waste food going to landfill every year and impact up to 600 people every week through our redistribution network in Nottingham. We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about our mission to make food go further!

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Hours are flexible, so we can find slots that suit your schedule best.
Volunteer Van Drivers are responsible for redistributing surplus food from our store to our local community partners, including school breakfast clubs, food banks and homeless shelters.
Deliveries and collections can include:
• Delivering bread to school breakfast clubs
• Delivering crates of food to food banks
• Collecting donations from our local partners
What you will gain from volunteering with us:
• Support your local community, impacting 500 people a week through our redistribution network
• Building new relationships with like-minded people
• Build a community around sustainability and food security
Application process:
Please complete the application form online . A member of the team will get back to you via email to take you through the induction process, which should last an hour. Then you’re ready to go!
