Volunteers help NNRF provide vital support during lockdown

Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum (NNRF) was forced to close its doors in response to the pandemic but it did not stop providing essential services to refugees and asylum seekers living across the city and county.

Watch the video below to find out more about the organisation's response and the work of its amazing volunteers. The video is introduced by Barbara Spreiz, Volunteer Co-ordinator for NNRF ...

Over 60 volunteers have helped the charity provide vital support to destitute refugees and asylum seekers during the crisis. The organisation's response has included volunteers rallying the support of their neighbours, family and friends to provide essential food bank donations for the NNRF anti-destitution project, whilst others have helped with packaging up food parcels and delivering them across the city and county.
