TNL Community Fund: Million Hour Fund

The deadline for applications is Wednesday 22 October 2025, 12 noon

Grants of £30,000 to £100,000 are available for incorporated voluntary or community organisations and public sector organisations to provide extra support for young people in areas with higher levels of anti-social behaviour.

The funding is specifically to increase the number of hours of youth work, giving young people more safe places to go and positive activities to take part in.

This is the third phase of the Million Hours Fund, jointly funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and The National Lottery Community Fund.

To apply, your project must:

  • benefit young people aged 10 to 18, or up to 25 if they have SEND
  • effectively engage young people who may be at risk of involvement in anti-social behaviour
  • deliver more hours of youth work than you currently provide
  • involve young people in deciding how you work
  • offer open access youth work (open to as many young people as possible)
  • be run by trusted adults such as qualified youth workers, youth support workers or experienced volunteers

The extra youth work you deliver should help young people to:

  • improve their emotional wellbeing
  • build life and practical skills
  • feel safer and have access to trusted relationships with adults
