Parkinson’s UK has launched a new small grants scheme to help people from marginalised communities get active and take part in local exercise sessions.
Community organisations can apply for up to £3,000 to support physical activity and community engagement. This could include running exercise classes, holding events, or consulting with the Parkinson’s community to understand local needs.
To be eligible, your group must either:
- Be part of, or work closely with, one of the listed marginalised communities, or
- Work with the Parkinson’s community in specific areas (check the location list on the Parkinson’s UK website)
Grants can cover:
- Up to 60% for physical activity sessions
- Up to 40% for community outreach and engagement
If you're unsure whether you're eligible or need help with your application, your local Area Development Manager can support you.

- Community charities, CICs, or voluntary groups (not including Parkinson’s UK’s own local branches)
